Small place. The atmosphere is low key. The food is amazing. Decent prices. If you're getting take out, call in advance, because they take a long time. They give you gloves to eat with; that was pretty convenient. I would definitely go back.

Went here with friends after ending up in Harlem, and it was so good! I ordered the fried fish basket which was really good if you like your fried fish with little breading. The coconut shrimp were huge and looked amazing. Food was hot and came fast. There is little seating so it was a bit cramped, but it added to the cozy/shanty atmosphere (I still wish there was more). It's totally unique! If you like seafood, this is a definite must.

Got there at 5pm on a Wednesday. Small establishment but room in back and outside to sit. No wait and the food was brought out promptly. The waitress frequently mixed up table orders but I'm guessing she was new so no worries. Got the crab legs and shrimp which were both good. The sauce I had was a mixture of 4 and I loved the curry kick to it. Overall good food. Would return again

INTRO This place is the definition of an hidden gem. It does not look like much from the outside. And one could even think it's just a small take out joint. But once you step inside and have a look a the menu, you can only notice that's there's something different about this place. INSIDE At the entrance, you can find the ordering counter and a table surrounded by built in benches. There are also more seats at the back. But you are going to want to keep going, until the backyard, where a beautiful and cute hut (heated during winter) is waiting for you. FOOD The three of us had the Lolo's Peppa Shrimp Boil. The others picked the Coco Curry Sauce and I, the Lolo's Special Sauce which is a mix of all three (Garlic + Ginger + Coco). I dot not recommend this sauce ; there's too many different flavors so you actually cannot taste anything distinctive. Also, don't hesitate to ask the spicy sauce on the side as it's QUITE spicy (you have been Warned!). Back to the Shrimp, just Amazing! They are firm and dense and the serving size (1 lb) is definitely enough. My only complaint is that there should be Much more sweet potatoes and a little bit more sausages. It would make the dish filling even for big eaters.

A little slow with food service, not sure of it depends on what you order. But we went earlier in day. Place has happy hour, seating up front and towards the back. As well as an outdoor heated cabana. Looks like a place to grab a quick bite and drinks with a small grou of friends. Food was good.
